Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2026

These terms govern your use of Go Books, provided by GINKGO Pro Ltd. They will be reviewed by a solicitor before the service moves out of early access.

Early-access service

Go Books is currently in early access and is provided free of charge on an "as is" basis. Features may change, and the service may contain errors or omissions. We may introduce paid plans in the future and will give you notice before doing so.

Your responsibility for figures

Go Books helps you prepare invoices, expenses, and Making Tax Digital submissions, but it does not provide professional tax advice. You are responsible for reviewing all figures before submitting them to HMRC. Go Books prepares the data; you authorise every submission to HMRC yourself. For complex matters, consult a qualified accountant or tax adviser.

Acceptable use

You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your account secure, and to use the service lawfully. You must not misuse the service, attempt to access others' data, or submit false or misleading information to HMRC.

Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if required to comply with legal obligations.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of Go Books is limited to the fees you have paid us. As the service is free during early access, this means our liability is limited accordingly. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be dealt with in the courts of England and Wales.
