Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: July 2026
Go Books is operated by GINKGO Pro Ltd. We want as many people as possible to use Go Books comfortably, regardless of how they access the web. This statement explains how we approach accessibility and how to tell us if something is not working for you.
Our aim
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This is the standard required for HMRC production approval, and the level we hold ourselves to across the app.
What we do
- Use sufficient colour contrast for text and controls, including buttons and status badges.
- Make every interactive element reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Provide a “Skip to content” link on each page, and keep a logical heading and landmark structure.
- Label form fields and icon-only buttons so they work with screen readers.
- Respect your operating system’s reduced-motion preference.
- Design layouts that work at 200% zoom and on narrow screens without horizontal scrolling.
Reporting an issue
If you find something hard to use, please tell us. Email support@ginkgopro.co.uk and include the page you were on and what you were trying to do. We will look into it and get back to you.
Known limitations
Go Books connects to HMRC and your bank through sandbox (test) services during early access. Some third-party screens you reach through those connections are outside our control, but we will help you complete any task those screens are used for.
Review
We review this statement and our accessibility whenever we make significant changes, and at least once a year. This statement was last reviewed in July 2026.
